Manitoba First Nations Board for Family Violence Prevention

The Circling Buffalo board is comprised of two (2) members designated by the Assembly of Manitoba Chiefs Women’s Council; two (2) members designated by Manitoba’s Social Development Advisors Technical Group (SDATG); one (1) appointed First Nation Shelters of Manitoba representative; one (1) selected Elder; two (2) youth representatives; and one (1) grassroots member. They serve for an appointed term of four (4) years.
Circling Buffalo Inc. aims to empower our communities to build upon their strengths, communicate and network effectively, and provide prevention services through holistic, community-driven programming.
